George Mason returns to the road for a pair of conference
tilts as the Patriots open Colonial Athletic Association play at Old Dominion
on Friday. The Green and Gold then face William and Mary on Sunday.
Mason enters the weekend with a 3-3-2 record and is 3-0-1 in
its last four outings. Tiana Kallenberger paces the Patriots with four goals,
while Nicole Clark leads with three assists. In goal, Alex Bodenschatz and
Lyndse Hokanson have split time in the net and combined for a 1.78 goals
against average.
The Lady Monarchs have won three of their last four and are
led by senior Lisa Bernardini with three goals and two assists for a team-best
eight points. Ashlee Coutu also boasts three goals on the year. Brianna
Alvarado has earned the start in net all eight matches and owns a 1.86 goals
against average.
The Tribe enter Sunday's match after finishing non-conference
play with a 5-1-2 record. Emory Camper continues to lead the Tribe offense with
five goals and four assists. Camper is tied for the CAA lead with 14 points on
the year. In net, Katherine Yount boasts a 0.83 goals against average and is
tied for the conference lead in shutouts with four.
