In the second edition of On the Pitch, a weekly feature that allows fans to get acquainted with one member of the women's soccer team, GoMason.com spoke with sophomore Nicole Clark, a native of Ellicott City, Md. Clark has appeared in six games for the Patriots, getting the start in three this season, and has dished out three assists.

Q: How did you get started playing soccer?
A: I started playing at age four with the Soccer Association of Columbia. I watched my older brother play and wouldn't let go of a soccer ball after that.

Q: If you weren't playing soccer, what would you be doing?
A: I would be running track, playing lacrosse, or any other sport.

Q: What is your favorite part of playing soccer?
A: My favorite part of playing soccer is the feeling at the end of the game when I'm exhausted and I'm with my other teammates and we know we just gave it our all.

Q: Why did you choose to play for George Mason?
A: I chose George Mason because of the team, coaching staff and the competiveness.

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: My favorite food is fruit.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: My favorite movie is the Harry Potter series.

Q: What is the last song you listened to on your iPod?
A: An old Panic! At the Disco song!

Q: What two words would you use to describe yourself?
A: Focused and competitive.

Q: Would you rather be a contestant on American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance or America's Got Talent? And why?
A: I would be on So You Think You Can Dance because I can pick up steps and patterns well.

Q: If you were on Survivor, what teammate would you want to be partnered with and why?
A: I would want to be partnered with Bo [Visavakul] because she survived Navy boot camp!

Q: What is one thing interesting about you that people may not know?
A: People probably don't know that I hunt.

Q: What does it mean to you to be a George Mason Patriot?
A: It means getting to wear that GREEN AND GOLD!
