Former George Mason women' soccer player Omolyn Davis
will
begin her professional career next weekend as she has signed a contract to play
for the magicJack of Women's Professional Soccer. Davis was the 10th
overall pick in the WPS draft which was held in January.
Davis, who was an All-American this season, became the
highest drafted CAA-player in the history of the WPS. She played two years for
the Patriots and was among the top 15 all-time in school history in goals,
assists and points.
The magicJack will play their home games on the campus of
Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla. They will open their season on
the road next Saturday, April 16, when they play at the Philadelphia Independence
at 7 p.m.
