PINEHURST, N.C. (April 23, 2011) - George Mason moved up to second place behind UNC Wilmington after the second round of the 2011 CAA Men's Golf Championship. The Seahawks (587)are led by Josh Brock, who currently stands in first place with a two-day score of 72-71-143 (-1).

The Seahawks have a 10-stroke lead over George Mason (597).  VCU has posted a two-day score of 600 to jump to third place, while James Madison fell to fourth (604) after first-round leader Chad Mozingo had to withdraw on Saturday due to an injury. Old Dominion (605) will enter the final round in fifth place, William & Mary (609) is sixth and Georgia State is seventh with a team score of 612.  Delaware (613, 8^th), Towson (621, 9^th), Drexel (643, 10^th) and Hofstra (655, 11^th) round out the team scoring after two rounds.

George Mason is led by Silas VanSky who stands in fourth with a four-over par 146 (72-74). VanSky birdied the 17^th-hole on No. 8 for the second-straight day, giving him the only two birdies of the tournament.

Old Dominion's Neil Henderson jumped to second place (144) among the individuals, behind Brock, after posting the round-low 68 on Saturday. VCU's Rocky Khara shot a 1-under par in the second round to improve to third place (74-71-145), and The 54-hole championship will be completed on Sunday. The teams will start at split tees at 8:00 a.m. on the No. 8 course. UNC Wilmington, George Mason, VCU, James Madison, Old Dominion and William & Mary will tee-off on the first tee, while the rest of the teams will tee-off on the 10^th tee. The awards ceremony will follow the conclusion of the third round and the tournament team champion will earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Golf Championship.
