The George Mason men's basketball team takes its nine-game winning streak, the longest in 12 seasons, to Wilmington where the Patriots will take on the Seahawks. Mason opened CAA play in December with a 80-52 victory over UNCW in Fairfax ... UNCW comes into Tuesday's game tied for eighth in the CAA standings at 5-8. The Seahawks defeated William & Mary, 91-81, on Saturday at home to snap a four-game losing skid. UNCW is led on offense by Chad Tomko, who averages 16.4 points per game while Keith Rendleman is the second-leading scorer (10.6 ppg) and top rebounder (8.0 rpg) ... In the latest polls, the Patriots have received votes. The ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll has the Patriots 30th overall with 13 votes, while the latest Associated Press Top 25 Poll, the Patriots received 19 votes by the media which ranks them 32nd nationally. Mason last received votes in both polls at the same time on Nov. 19, 2007, while Mason had one vote in the AP poll on Feb. 1 last year.
