With a new school record in hand, the George Mason men's basketball team looks to extend the nation's longest active winning streak in a Sears BracketBusters matchup at Northern Iowa. The Patriots have won 12 straight games, and Mason is 2-4 in the event after participating the last six years ... UNI welcomes the Patriots to Cedar Falls with a 19-9 record and 10-6 mark in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Panthers snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday with a 80-70 win at Bradley. In non-conference play at home this season, UNI is undefeated at 6-0. Leading the offense is Kwadzo Ahelegbe, who averages 13.9 points per contest ... The Patriots are 4-7 all-time against members of the Missouri Valley Conference, including two prior BracketBuster matchups against Wichita State and Creighton. Mason has three wins over the Bluejays and two against the Shockers, coming five years ago in the BracketBuster game and the NCAA Tournament.
