With their academic responsibilities completed for the fall semester, the George Mason men's basketball team turns its attention to hosting Duquesne on Wednesday night. Last season, Mason eked out a double-overtime win over the Dukes in Pittsburgh, and the Patriots lead the all-time series 4-1 ... Duquesne is 6-5 on the season, including a road loss most recently at Western Michigan, 85-71, in Kalamazoo. Duquesne has not won a true road game this season, going 0-3 thus far on opponent courts. Four DU players average double-digit scoring, led by Sean Johnson who chips in 15.6 points per game. B.J. Monteiro is the leading rebounder, pulling down 4.8 boards per contest ... The Patriots are currently in the midst of an 18-game home winning streak, which ties the Patriot Center record set from 2008-09. A win Wednesday against the Dukes would set a new building mark, while the school's overall home win streak record is 29 set at the P.E. Building from 1974-75 ... Against current members of the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Patriots have amassed a 31-47 record. The majority of those games, though, have come against former Colonial Athletic Association member Richmond. Mason already has one A-10 victory this year, defeating Rhode Island 92-90 in overtime in the season opener. Last year the Patriots went 3-1 against the A-10 with wins over Charlotte, George Washington and Duquesne and a loss at Dayton.
