The George Mason women's basketball team will look to rebound from a season-opening hard-fought loss to American welcoming Oakland in the first-ever meeting between the programs on Sunday.
Against American, Amber Easter posted her fifth career double-double leading the Patriots with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Redshirt-senior Taleia Moton chipped in 19 points for Mason.
Oakland returns four starters from a 2010-11 team that went 20-12 and 12-6 in the Summit League. Bethany Watterworth and Sharise Calhoun were named Preseason All-Summit League this season after leading the Golden Grizzlies with 17.8 and 12.8 points per game averages, respectively.
