The race for a top-six CAA finish continues for the George Mason men's soccer team as the Patriots travel to Hofstra Wednesday night for a key conference matchup at 7 p.m.

Mason is coming off a 4-1 victory over Northeastern Saturday night. Freshman Leo Stolz scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the contest to earn CAA Rookie of the Week honors. Stolz is tied with Julio Arjona and Ryan Gracia each with three goals on the season, while Taylor Morgan continues to lead the Patriots with a team-best nine goals. Goalkeeper Sean Cote has earned the start in 10 of 12 matches appeared in, accumulating 25 saves and a 1.05 goals against average.

Hofstra has dropped four of the past five matches and is coming off a 4-1 setback at Old Dominion. Three players pace the offense with three goals each on the season, while goalkeeper Roberto Pellegrini has played all 14 matches recording 75 stops and a 1.74 GAA. Pellegrini leads the league in saves.
