George Mason senior midfielder Ernesto Marquez was named third-team All-South Atlantic Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, the third straight season a Mason player was named All-Region and the fifth time in the past six years.

Marquez was one of 12 CAA players named All-Region, just two behind the ACC which had 14 selections. The Woodbridge, Va. native finished the season with seven goals and five assists while playing in all 17 matches for the Patriots. He was third in the CAA in points per game and was named first-team All-CAA.

In a four-year career, Marquez started 32 of 47 matches with 11 goals and 12 assists.
