Notes: The George Mason men's volleyball team has lost just once this season and that was on the road at nationally-ranked Ohio State. The Patriots get another chance at a ranked team on Friday when they host Ball State. Mason is 5-0 at home this year. Ball State is 2-2 with a win at No. 11 Hawaii. Their losses have been to No. 4 UCLA and No. 9 Penn State.

Notes: The Patriots and Mastodons have several common opponents. IPFW played twice at NJIT with a pair of 3-0 wins. Mason hosted NJIT and won 3-1. Mason lost 3-1 at Ohio State while IPFW lost at home to Ohio State, 3-0.
