FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason men's soccer team defeated Georgetown by a final score of 1-0 in its first exhibition match of the 2010 season on Saturday evening at George Mason Stadium.

Senior Brent Brockman scored the game-winning goal in the second half. Senior Parker Walton and sophomore Taylor Morgan both assisted on the goal.

The Patriots play two more exhibition contests before beginning the regular season on Wednesday, Sept. 1 against George Washington in the D.C. College Cup hosted by American University. Mason's exhibition schedule concludes with a pair of home matches against Wright State on Tuesday and Virginia on Saturday.
