SAN JOSE, Calif. - Conor Shanosky, who will join the George Mason University men's soccer team for his freshman season in the fall, has been selected to participate in the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team Camp. Prior to his selection, Shanosky had been training with the D.C. United U-18 Academy Team.

Shanosky is one of three players that will join head coach Thomas Rongen's squad from the youth ranks, along with Andrew Jean-Baptiste (Albertson) and Moises Orozco (Real So Cal). Each of the three represents a different Development Academy club. The U-20 team roster includes eight players who play in Mexico, and one each in Brazil, Costa Rica and Portugal. There are also 10 players from the college ranks, including the starting goalkeepers for each of the last two FIFA U-17 World Cups in Earl Edwards (UCLA) and Zac MacMath (Maryland).

The domestic training camp will take place in San Jose, Calif. from June 27-July 5, with a total of 24 players representing the youth, college and professional ranks. Rongen's side will scrimmage the San Jose Earthquakes twice during the camp and also play against two local clubs.

The U.S. U-20 MNT is approximately seven months away from the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which will serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
