Prior to that James Madison went from 1992 through 1995 and Navy went from 1984-1987. Navy won the title three times, JMU won it once and UNCW won it three times. Mason has made 10 title-game appearances, most in conference history. Second, with nine appearances, is UNC Wilmington. James Madison has made seven trips while VCU and ODU have each made six. Of other active members, only William & Mary (twice), Hofstra and Drexel (one each) have appeared in the title game.
