Mason opened its five-game homestand defeating Stony Brook in comfortable fashion, 74-48, Thursday night. Brittany Poindexter led the Patriot's offense draining 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Poindexter and Taleia Moton led Mason at the free throw line, each hitting five as the Patriots went 24-for-38 at the charity stripe. Ohio brings a 2-6 record into Sunday's matchup, which is the first between the programs in history. The Bobcats, on a five-game losing streak, are coming off a 70-57 loss to Wright State to wrap up a two-game homestand.
