The George Mason women's basketball team wraps up this three-game season opening road swing at Wichita State after a difficult loss at Fairfield Monday night. The Patriots opened the season with three games on the road for the first time since the 2007-08 season. Both teams bring a 1-1 record into Saturday's contest as Mason defeated UMass in the season opener, 60-55, and WSU picked up a 79-53 victory over SIU Edwardsville in its second contest of the season. The Shockers opened the campaign with an overtime loss to Arizona, falling 81-72 in the Charles Koch Arena.
