The George Mason women's basketball team officially kicks off the 2010-11 regular season at Massachusetts. The Patriots return five starters from the 2009-10 squad that went 10-20 overall. UMass, under the direction of first-year head coach Sharon Dawley, lost four letterwinners, including three starters, from 2009-10. The Minutewomen posted an 11-19 record last season.
