2010-11 Mason Men's Basketball Schedule (PDF)
Fairfax, Va.- Since the 2006 Final Four Mason men's basketball has had 101 games aired on television. The Patriots will add to that total with at least 14 games slated for the 2010-11 season. Mason's composite television schedule includes games on the multi-platform ESPN package, the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN), and selected games as part of the Colonial Athletic Association's (CAA) Comcast/TCN package.
The Green and Gold have six CAA games slated for broadcast on Comcast SportsNet with the potential of an additional game at home against James Madison. Both home and away contests with CAA rival Old Dominion will be scheduled on Comcast SportsNet. The other planned games include home games against Delaware, Georgia State and Northeastern and at William & Mary.
MASN, in its fifth year as the Official Cable partner of the Patriots, will broadcast at least four Mason games this season. The Patriots game against Charlotte in the ESPN Charleston Classic on November 18 will begin the television schedule. Fans will be able to watch at least three additional games on MASN, including CAA contests both home and away against UNC Wilmington and a non-conference matchup versus Loyola at the Patriot Center.
The Patriots are scheduled to appear on the ESPN platform at least two times, both CAA games, at James Madison and at VCU will be broadcast on ESPNU. Mason has the potential to appear on the ESPN platform four additional times during the regular season, as the semi-final, the third place and the championship game at the Charleston Classic are scheduled on ESPNU. The contest against James Madison at the Patriot Center will either be on ESPN2 or CSN, and as part of ESPN Bracketbuster weekend on February 19.
