Final Results

The Patriots golf team carded a two-over par 290 and low team score on the day, at the Richmond Intercollegiate, to finish in sixth place overall out of 11 teams. Mason went into third round action 10 strokes behind fifth place Georgetown and made up seven strokes in the final round to finish just three strokes behind the Hoyas.

Josh Apple finished with a two-under par 70 and a top 20 finish at the tournament with a three-round score of 217. The remaining Patriots golfers finished in the top 30. Joe Buttgereit finished 23rd, Marshall Tinsley 26th and Silas Vansky 29th.

Mason finishes up their fall schedule at the ODU Invitational in Powell's Point, NC Oct. 24-26.
