FAIRFAX, Va. - A trio of George Mason men's soccer alumni have moved on to the professional ranks with European teams. All three were members of George Mason's 2008 CAA Championship team.

The alumni playing professionally include Kwame Adjeman-Pamboe, Jonathan Borrajo and Axel Levry. Adjeman-Pamboe is playing in Finland for FC Viikingit of the Finnish First Division, Borrajo is playing for Ljungskile of the Swedish Second Division and Levry is playing in Germany for Energie Cottbus.

All three alumni played prominent roles in George Mason capturing the 2008 CAA Championship, its first since the 1989 season. Adjeman-Pamboe, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the CAA Championships, was a First-Team NSCAA All-South Atlantic Region selection after leading the CAA in points with 25. Borrajo earned Second-Team All-CAA honors after anchoring a George Mason defensive unit that held opponents scoreless in a total of 10 matches. Levry earned CAA All-Rookie Team honors after starting 22 matches as a freshman that season.
