Fairfax, Va. - Theresa DeLucca scored a pair of goals in the first six minutes and the George Mason women's soccer team played staunch defense throughout as the Patriots were able to beat Drexel, 3-0 on a rainy Friday night at George Mason Stadium. Mason is now unbeaten in its past four contests,

In the fourth minute, Tiana Kallenberger took a pass with her back to the goal at the top of the box. She passed to her left to DeLucca who blasted the ball into the right corner of the net for a 1-0 lead. Just two minutes later, Patti Benner touched the ball to the left and found a streaking DeLucca who made one move and put the ball into the left corner of the net from 16 yards. It was the first multi-goal game of DeLucca's career.

From there it was the defense that dominated. Alex Bodenschatz made three first-half saves and faced four corner kicks safely. In the 57th minute, Mason scored its 42nd goal of the season when Omolyn Davis found Kelly Keelan and from 25 yards out, the senior went to the left post for the score.
