The George Mason women's basketball team will host its second-to-last home game of the 2007-08 season before a regional television audience on Sunday against Towson. The Patriots were victorious in their lone television game thus far this season, a 67-56 victory over Winthrop on Dec. 30. Tip time is set for 3 p.m. at Patriot Center.

Towson enters Sunday's game with a 17-8 record, 9-5 in the CAA. The Tigers have won two of their last three contests after a season-long three-game losing skid. The Tigers are led on offense by Holly Mahan and Shanae Baker-Brice, who average 13.4 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. In these two teams' matchup on Jan. 20, Towson picked up a 65-38 win on its home court.
Mason has never lost at Patriot Center to the Tigers in the two teams' all-time series dating back to 1982. The Patriots' average margin of victory at home is 14 points against the Tigers.
Last time out, Northeastern used a late second-half rally to hold off the Patriots, 65-56, on Thursday evening at Solomon Court. The loss dropped the Patriots to 9-16, 3-11 in the conference, while the Huskies improved to 9-15 (4-10 CAA) by ending a four-game losing streak against Mason. The Patriots were led by sophomore Rashauna Hobbs, who scored 10 points. Northeastern was paced on offense by Shaylese Smallwood, who led all scorers with 26 points.
