After 120 games and a Final Four appearance, Mason senior Folarin Campbell finally earned an honor that has eluded him for more than three years. Campbell was named CAA Co-Player of the Week after first tying, then breaking his career high as the Patriots went 1-1 on the week.

Mason, which beat Drexel but lost to Old Dominion, is currently tied for second in the CAA. Campbell had 25 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks against Drexel, playing 36 minutes and going 7 of 12 from the field and 9 of 10 from the free throw line. Against ODU, Campbell scored 28 points while grabbing three rebounds and handing out three assists. He was 9 of 11 from the line in that contest. On the week, he averaged 26.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Campbell is the only player in school history to score 1,300 points, grab 400 rebounds, hand out 350 assists, record 100 3-pointers, 100 steals and 50 blocks. He is currently 14th on the school's career scoring list and fourth on the career assists list.

Campbell is the second Mason played to be named CAA Player of the Week this season. Will Thomas won the award twice previously. Campbell shares this week's award with Abdulai Jalloh of James Madison.

Mason will return to action on Wednesday when the Patriots play at Towson on MASN with tip time slated for 9 p.m.
