George Mason senior defender Jessica Paris was honored by the Colonial Athletic Association on Thursday night when she was named third-team All-CAA as voted upon by the league's coaches.
Paris, a third-team All-CAA selection last year, became the first Mason player to be named All-CAA in back-to-back seasons since Sarah Coughlin in 2003 and 2004. She's also the 11th player in school history to receive All-CAA honors more than once.
Paris finished the year with one goal and a team-high seven assists. Paris' seven assists are tied for 13th most in a single-season at Mason. It's also the most assists by a Mason player since both Megan Hawkins and Katy Robertson had seven in 2000. She is currently tied for fifth in the CAA in assists.
Paris finished her career among the top 10 in school history in games started as she started each of the 77 games that she's played. She finishes with 11 goals and 11 assists and Mason had a 9-1 record in games in which she scored.
