The George Mason men's basketball team has 14 home games on the schedule this year and times have been set for seven of those contests, including Homecoming Weekend.
Mason's first home game against a Colonial Athletic Association opponent pits the Patriots against UNC Wilmington on Saturday, Jan. 3. That game will tip off at 7 p.m. The following Saturday, Mason will host Old Dominion, with the start time slated for 2 p.m. Mason will host James Madison one week later with tip once again scheduled for 2 p.m. A mid-week contest against Delaware on Tuesday, Jan. 27 has a 7 p.m. start time while Mason's home game against Hofstra on Feb. 3 has the Patriots taking on the Pride at 9 p.m.
Homecoming Weekend will pit the Patriots against Northeastern and the contest is scheduled to begin at Noon. The final home game of the year, Senior Night, has Mason hosting Towson on Saturday, Feb. 28. That game will begin at 7 p.m.
Times have been set for a number of road games as well. In out-of-conference action, the Patriots will open the season at Vermont at 1 p.m., play at Hampton at 7 p.m., at East Carolina at 4:30 p.m. and at Liberty at 7 p.m. Mason's first CAA road game is at Drexel on Saturday, Dec. 6 and tip is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Other CAA road games that have definite tip times are the contests at Towson, William & Mary, Northeastern, Old Dominion, Delaware and UNC Wilmington. All of those games will begin at 7 p.m. The contest at James Madison starts at 2 p.m.
Home games against Brown, Mount St. Mary's, Ohio, Radford, Tulane, Georgia State and Drexel remain TBA as do road games at Dayton and VCU.
