The 7th Annual George Mason Baseball Classic will take place on Friday, October 12 at Pleasant Valley Golf Club with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The day includes a clinic and driver demo as well as three separate contests.
The format for the event is a four-person captain's choice and it is $135 per person and $540 per foursome. Awards will go to the top three foursomes and there will also be several contest holes. Other contests include Longest Drive, Closest to Pin and Double Your Money. All proceeds will benefit the George Mason University Baseball Program.
The day will begin at 11:15 a.m. with registration and at Noon there will be a clinic with instructors from the John O'Leary Golf Academy. The Zelocity Launch Monitor will be set up on the range where the long drive contest will take place with demo drivers from Ping, Cleveland, Nike and Bridgestone.
This year there are scholarship opportunities available that include lunch sponsor, longest drive sponsor, Closest to pin sponsor, double your money sponsor, range ball sponsor, beverage cart sponsor and tee sponsor.
