Mayaguez, Puerto Rico - A total team effort by the George Mason men's volleyball team led the squad to an exhibition match victory Wednesday night against Sagrado in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
"Everybody found a way to contribute to score points," said Head Coach Fred Chao. "If one phase of their game wasn't working, they found a way to pick it up in other areas."
Mason won three-games-to-zero for the second consecutive match, duplicating the results of the season opener against Lees-McRae at the John Linn Memorial Gymnasium on Jan. 14.
The Patriots will play the second of their three scheduled matches in Puerto Rico today against the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez at 7 p.m. before finishing the road swing at the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras Friday at 7 p.m.
