The George Mason men's volleyball team will honor a pair of seniors on Saturday night as the Patriots play their penultimate home match of the season, taking on Rutgers-Newark at 7 p.m. in an Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association match at John Linn Memorial Gymnasium.
Senior outside hitter Felix Campos and senior setter Dave Egan will be honored before the match as the 15th-ranked Patriots will look to remain in second place in the EIVA. The Patriots will host a home match in the EIVA Tournament regardless of Saturday night's outcome but could put themselves in position to be one of the tournament favorites.
Mason defeated Rutgers-Newark earlier this season when the two teams faced at Rutgers. Mason is currently 7-3 in the EIVA while Rutgers-Newark is 7-4 and Juniata is 8-4. The Patriots split with Juniata this season. Mason will finish its season next weekend with a home match against No. 3 Penn State, which is 10-0 in EIVA action.
