The Patriots (12-9, 7-5 CAA) are winners of five of their last six games, while the Tigers (5-17, 2-10 CAA) have lost six consecutive games and nine of their last 10.

THE SERIES: George Mason leads Towson in the all-time series, 19-8.
Tonight's game is the 11th meeting at the Towson Center between these two teams where the Patriots are 7-3 over the Tigers.
Mason has won the last three games played in Towson and is 8-5 overall.
The Patriots, who are 7-0 against the Tigers since they joined the CAA, have won the last seven meetings and 14 of the last 15 in the series. The only loss occurred on Jan. 6, 1993 at the Towson Center, 78-71.
The two teams met often between 1972 and 1986 when they were members of the Mason-Dixon Conference as each school elevated to Division I status.
Prior to joining the CAA, Mason and Towson last met in a home-and-home series in 1992 and 1993, with each winning on its home court.
