George Mason University's Intercollegiate Athletics will present Mason Midnight Madness tonight Friday, Oct. 14, beginning at 11 p.m. at the Patriot Center, home of Patriots Basketball.
Midnight Madness is the featured "Broadside Game of the Week". Mason students that attend will be entered into the "Pimp My Room" sweepstakes. Doors open at 10:30 p.m., with the start of the festivities at 11 p.m. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Mason Midnight Madness is being held for the ninth straight year and is the annual rite of fall on the Fairfax campus. Over 3,000 fans are expected to attend the festivities, which feature pre-practice games for fans, events and interactive competitions. Mix in dance routines from the nationally recognized George Mason cheerleaders and Masonettes dance team, innovative introductions of the basketball teams and an atmosphere that promotes boisterous fun, and the stage is set for a resounding sendoff for another Patriot basketball season.
