Fairfax, Va.--George Mason University's women's soccer team (5-5-0/1-1) will host conference rival James Madison (6-4-0/1-1) on Sunday, October 2 at 1 p.m. The two teams are tied for fifth in the conference with 1-1 records.

The doubleheader is the featured "Broadside Game of the Week". Mason students will receive complimentary clock and also be entered into the "Pimp My Room" sweepstakes.

The Patriots own a 3-1 record thus far this season at George Mason Field and James Madison is 1-3 on the road. Rachel Wiggins (five goals/two assists) and Danielle MacDonald (three goals/one assist) lead the Patriots offense. James Madison is led by Kim Argy (five goals/three assists) and Karly Skladany (three goals).

The Patriots and the Dukes series record couldn't be more even at 9-9-2. On their home turf, Mason last beat James Madison on October 24, 2001, a 3-2 overtime game. Last year at George Mason Stadium the two teams battled to a 1-1 tie. Mason has won three straight regular season match-ups with the Dukes, including two overtime wins, but JMU has beaten Mason in three of the last four years in the CAA tournament, including a 1-0 win last year on November 2. The last time the Dukes won at Mason during the regular season was October 13, 1999, 5-1.
