Arch-rivals George Mason and James Madison meet for the 74th time on the hardwood Saturday at 4 p.m. The contest, which will be played at the JMU Convocation Center in Harrisonburg, VA, will also be televised live on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic and on the Metro Channel in New York.
The Patriots (14-6, 7-4 CAA) need a win to keep pace within the Colonial Athletic Association regular season race. A win over James Madison (5-14, 2-9 CAA) would avenge last year's two losses to the Dukes.
JMU leads Mason 47-26 in the all-time series, but the Patriots have won 7 of the last 9 games in the series and 9 of the previous 12 meetings dating back to Dec. 5, 1998. George Mason won the first meeting earlier this year, 74-70, in Fairfax.
