FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason University Athletic Department invites all Patriot faculty and staff to a fantastic George Mason community-oriented night of fun, as the men's basketball team presents Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night for the 2004-05 regular season on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Patriot Center against Iona.

Mason faculty and staff can receive four FREE tickets by just showing their Mason ID at the Patriot Center Box Office or at the information desk in the Johnson Center (JC tickets are available for pick up on Dec. 3). Additionally, Sodexho will be serving FREE food and beverage for a pre-game meal (5:30-6:30 p.m.) in the hospitality room on the Patriot Center main concourse.

Last year, Patriot basketball accomplished something no other team had ever done before by winning 23 games, including two postseason wins. Mason is just as exciting to watch this season with the return of all-Colonial Athletic Association junior forward Jai Lewis, CAA all-tournament team honoree junior guard Tony Skinn, and sharp-shooting junior guard Lamar Butler. So come out and watch this season's exciting team as they start their drive to another highly successful season.

Patriot fans can't find a better evening of fun and family entertainment. So join the Mason community and "Be a Patriot."
