FAIRFAX, VA ... The non-conference college women's soccer game between George Mason and Georgetown, originally set for last week, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Georgetown's North Kehoe Field. The contest was postponed on Sept. 3 due to unplayable field conditions.
George Mason takes a 2-0-1 record into the contest, while Georgetown is 0-3. It is the first-ever meeting between the local rivals.
The Patriots will return to action this weekend as it hosts the George Mason/Kappa Invitational at George Mason Stadium. On Friday, Delaware will face North Carolina State at 5 p.m. before George Mason meets Boston University at 7:30 p.m. The tournament continues Sunday as the Fightin' Blue Hens take on BU at 12 p.m. prior to the Patriots meeting the Wolfpack at 2:30 p.m.
