HARRISONBURG, Va. - Junior Sarah Wilkinson (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) scored just 8:33 into the game to give George Mason (2-0-1, 6-2-3) a 1-0 win over James Madison (1-2-0, 3-7-1) in Colonial Athletic Association women's soccer Saturday night.

Sophomore Kristin Portell (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) crossed the ball from the end line across the goal to Wilkinson, who scored on a three-yard shot.

Red-shirt junior goalkeeper Sarah Coughlin (Hawthorne, N.Y./Westlake) made three saves to get her second shutout of the year.

George Mason extended its unbeaten streak to four games (3-0- 1) while JMU dropped its third straight contest.
