FAIRFAX, VA ... The second of three University Mall collector's glasses will be given away and Elvis will be in the building as the George Mason men's basketball team entertains Towson on Alumni Night this Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Patriot Center.

George Mason alumni can purchase reduced-price tickets at $6 for the contest against Towson. To order alumni tickets, please call the George Mason Athletic Ticket Office at 703-993-3270. Regular tickets, priced at $11 for adults and $6 for youth and senior citizens, can be purchased through TicketMaster at 703-573-SEAT (7328).

A free University Mall collector's glass featuring former George Mason star Jason Miskiri and the 1999 NCAA Tournament appearance by the Patriots will be given away to the first 1,000 fans age 13 and older who attend Saturday's game. The glasses are sponsored by the University Mall shopping center in Fairfax.

In addition, Michael Hoover will perform his "Memories of Elvis" show at halftime. A native of Garrisonville, VA, Hoover was inspired to put together his show as a tribute to the King of Rock and Roll after Elvis Presley's death in 1977. He has been performing the show for more than 20 years, and the similarity between Elvis and Hoover, in terms of voice, mannerisms and looks, is astounding. Seeing "Memories of Elvis" is the next-best thing to seeing "The King" live in concert.

George Mason has won its last two games and enters the contest with a 10-8 overall record, 5-4 and in fifth place in the Colonial Athletic Association. Towson is 4-13, 1-7 in the CAA.
