TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Mark Davis scored 19 of his game-high 26 points in the
first half as George Mason beat Towson University 90-56 on Saturday night.
George Mason (8-5, 3-1 Colonial Athletic Association) has won eight of its
last 10 games. Towson (3-10, 0-4) has lost seven in a row.
Davis, who was 8-for-15 from the field, scored 14 consecutive points as
George Mason built a 16-4 lead in the opening six minutes.
George Mason led 43-23 at halftime and shot 51 percent from the field in the
second half.
Jesse Young had 20 points and a career-high 14 rebounds for George Mason,
which finished with 45-24 rebound advantage.
George Mason's Jon Larranaga scored 18 points.
Lawrence Hamm had 16 points for Towson and Jamaal Gilchrist added 14.
