    Strength and Conditioning Coach

Sarah Walls is in her third season as the strength and conditioning coach for women's basketball, and fifth season overall at Mason.

Walls's responsibilities include program design and implementation for injury prevention, speed and strength improvements and sport-specific conditioning.

She is also the president of Student-Athlete Performance Training (SAPT), where designs and implements training programs for athletes from age 10 to adult. She has experience in a wide variety of sports. Apart from athletic enhancement, Coach Walls has been working as a one-on-one trainer for the last seven years with all ages and abilities. Her written work can be found in the magazines M&F Hers, Volleyball Magazine, on www.elitefts.com, and in Sport Strength Newsletter.

During the 2006-07 season, Walls worked at Virginia Commonwealth University as a strength and conditioning coach for the soccer, golf, and men's cross country programs.

Walls is a 2003 graduate of Virginia Tech and is working towards her Master's in Sports Administration and Coaching from VCU.
