Redshirt senior defender Zoë Vidaurre scored the game winning goal in the 68th minute when she converted a penalty kick to lift the Patriots to a 2-1 victory in the Atlantic 10 opener against George Washington on Saturday. Anchoring Mason’s backline, Vidaurre played 90 minutes and helped limit the Revolutionaries to just one shot on goal throughout the match.
