George Mason senior Ali Tyler was named Most Outstanding Swimmer at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships… Tyler won three individual titles, setting new Atlantic 10 records in both the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard IM and posting new team records in the 100 Freestyle, 200 IM and 100 Backstroke… Tyler won the Atlantic 10 title in the 100-yard backstroke for the fourth straight year, claiming the gold with a new team record and NCAA B time (52.62) and she has been the individual champion in the event all four years since beginning her career at George Mason… In the 200-yard IM, Tyler won the gold with an Atlantic 10 Conference and program-record time of 1:57.37… Tyler also helped the Patriots win two relay medals, with gold in the 400-yard medley relay (3:39.28) and silver in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:19.48) and helped the team set a program record in the 800-yard freestyle (7:17.67)… On the final day of competition on Saturday, Tyler set a new Atlantic 10 and team record in the 100-yard freestyle, claiming the gold medal in the event for the second straight year (48.62).
