Senior starting pitcher Ryan Peterson took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and tossed a complete-game masterpiece to lead the Patriots past Massachusetts, 9-1, in the series finale at Spuhler Field. He allowed just two hits, one single and a double, and faced four batters over the minimum to earn his second win of the season and his second complete game in a Patriots uniform. Peterson (2-1) scattered two hits and allowed just five Minutemen baserunners. He recorded 11 groundouts, 10 fly outs, three pop outs and two foul outs in the game.
