Sophomore Zahirah Walton was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the fourth-straight week and fifth time overall for the Patriots this season. She earned the honor on Dec. 26 and Kennedy Harris has earned it three times, including the last two weeks.

Walton contributed across the board in the Patriots’ 1-0 week as Mason downed Davidson in dominating fashion, 79-41, at home on Wednesday. The sophomore rookie tallied 12 points on 5-7 shooting from the field and 4-4 tallies from the free throw line. The forward from Seattle, Wash. also added four rebounds, two steals and a career-high two blocks.
