Sophomore Asparuh Slavov scored a pair of goals in a span of under seven minutes in the second half (51st and 57 minute), including his first game-winning goal as a Patriot, in Mason's 4-2 home victory over Rhode Island on Wednesday, Oct. 4.  All three of the shots that he took in the match were on goal in 68 minutes of action.  Slavov registered two shots on goal and played all 90 minutes in Mason's 1-0 road victory over Duquesne on Saturday, Oct. 7.
 
Slavov is second on the club in goals (3) and with five shots on goal over the last two matches, he leads the Patriots in shots on goal (9).
