Furlong, from Waterford, Ireland, broke the facility record in the triple jump at the VMI Team Challenge. She posted an indoor personal-record mark of 12.43 meters to finish first in the event. The mark ranks first in the conference, 26th in the NCAA and seventh on the Ireland all-time indoors list.
