George Mason cross country student-athlete Annabelle Eastman punched her ticket to the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Friday morning in Lexington, Ky.

The junior from Melbourne, Australia notched a seventh-place individual finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships at E.P. Tom Sawyer Cross Country Course. She finished in a time of 20:18.7 in the women's 6k race. She earned an automatic bid to compete as an individual at the NCAA Championships in Tallahassee on Saturday, Nov. 20. The top four individuals who are not members of the top two-finishing teams automatically qualify for NCAAs. 

Eastman will compete in the national meet for the second straight campaign. She earned an at-large bid and finished 83rd overall at the 2020-21 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
