J.P. Miller finished 7th at the River Run Collegiate (68-74-74=216), earning a Top 10 finish for the second time as a Patriot. His seventh place finish (68-74-74) is bested only by a sixth-place finish at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate (10/22/19) with a five-under par 208 (67-72-69). Miller led the field with 41 pars. He carded an opening round 68(-4) with five birdies, including three of the four par 5s.
