Melissa Semkiw was named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week after putting together an all-around outstanding defensive performance in a 11-8 win over Delaware. She tallied a season-best 16 saves while allowing just eight goals in a full 60 minutes in the cage. In addition to her .667 save percentage, Semkiw also picked up a career-best eight ground balls and caused a personal-best four turnovers in the win.
