Meghan Deehan

Meghan Deehan joined the George Mason women's lacrosse coaching staff as the program's defensive coordinator in the summer of 2026.

During her tenure at Butler from 2024-26, Deehan oversaw the Bulldogs' goalkeepers and defensive unit. She coached senior defender Patricia Lynn to All-BIG EAST Second Team honors while helping develop one of the conference's top defensive players.

Deehan returns to George Mason after a standout collegiate career with the Patriots from 2022-24. A two-time Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week and 2023 Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team selection, she served as a team captain and established herself as one of the top goalkeepers in program history. During her three seasons in Fairfax, she totaled 351 saves, while surpassing the 500-career save milestone in her final collegiate season. She helped lead the Patriots to the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament, earning 10 victories in goal, tied for the second-most wins in a single season in program history.

Prior to George Mason, Deehan spent two seasons at Furman University, where she was a four-time Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week and earned 2021 All-SoCon Second Team honors. She helped lead the Paladins to the 2021 Southern Conference regular season championship after posting a 12-5 record in goal.

A native of Milton, Georgia, Deehan earned her bachelor's degree in integrative studies with a concentration in leadership and organizational development from George Mason in 2023 before completing her master's degree in sport management in 2024.
