Lauren Stack

    Graduate Assistant
Lauren Stack serves as a graduate assistant for the George Mason women’s basketball program. 
 
A native of St. Charles, Illinois, Stack comes from a basketball family—both her parents and her three younger siblings, Erin, Katrina, and Colin, all played or currently play at the collegiate level.
 
Stack graduated from American University in 2023 with a B.A. in journalism and a minor in chemistry and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in sports management. 
 
She played five seasons for the American University women’s basketball team, where she was a three-year team captain. Stack played a key role in leading the Eagles to a Patriot League championship in 2022 and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player in the 2022-23 season.
 
During her time at American, Stack was consistently named to the Dean’s List from 2019 to 2024, was part of the College Sports Communicators’ Academic All-District team from 2023 and 2024, and was a member of the Patriot League All-Academic team in 2024.
 
Off the court, Stack enjoys cooking, reading, writing, and working out. Her favorite professional teams include the Las Vegas Aces and the Washington Mystics. She also has a four-year-old cat named Aspen.
