Jenny Everett was named the department's Senior Associate AD, Chief Financial Officer on September 23, 2021.
Throughout her close to two-decade career, Everett has served a multitude of financial leadership positions at public and private companies in sports, education, and technology.

Everett is a Co-Founder of HUSEL, a company formed in 2016 by former Division I athletes to help the next generation of athletes elevate their game through specialized one-on-one and small group training. HUSEL connects Olympians, Professional Players, and College Athletes in over 20 sports and over 180 locations.
Prior to HUSEL, Everett served as Chief Financial Officer for a Virginia-based technology company focused on long-range 3D facial recognition technology. She also served as CEO and President of The Walter T. Kelley Company in Kentucky. In her two years there the company tripled revenue and was acquired by a family-held conglomerate for more than 10 times the return on investment.  She formerly worked in private equity with The Carlyle Group where she executed the largest leveraged technology buyout in history at $17 billion and as a CEO and CFO of several high-growth consumer companies.
Everett formerly played for the United States National Field Hockey Team and represented the US in international competitions such as The World Cup, New Zealand Test Series, and Japan 6 Nation Tournament. During college, she played midfield at Wake Forest University where she was a Division I All-American, All-ACC, Hall of Fame selection, and Academic All-American.Â
She graduated from Wake Forest with a B.S. in Business, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Everett also earned a M.S. in Accounting at UNC-Chapel Hill with High Honors and an MBA from Harvard Business School with High Distinction and as a George F. Baker Scholar in the top 5% of her class.
